Hajj is an annual pilgrimage to the holiest city of Mecca and is one of the five pillars of Islam. Hajj is fard (compulsory) on all Muslims (for those who are capable financially and physically). Hajj takes place over five/six days from the 8th to the 12/13th of Dhul Hijjah in the Islamic calendar. This means the dates for Hajj are different every year.
Umrah is a pilgrimage that Muslims carry out in the holiest city of Mecca. Umrah consists of two key rituals, Tawaf and Sa’i. Tawaf is circling around the Kaaba, and Sa’I is walking between the two hills of Safa and Marwa. Unlike Hajj, Umrah can be performed at any time and is generally shorter than Hajj, which offers flexibility for working professionals.
Our company was founded in 2019 by Haji Muhammad Azam with the sole intention of providing an ethical and just service for those wishing to perform the Holy rituals of Umrah and/or Hajj. After completing Umrah and Hajj himself, and hearing stories from others, Haji Azam became aware of horrible experiences that some pilgrims faced at the hands of travel agencies. These experiences included low-quality hotels, no ground transport, and improper guidance to perform Hajj/Umrah rituals.
As a result, Haji Azam felt it was a duty to set up an ethical and fair company for pilgrims. He traveled to Mecca and Medina and established connections with hotels and transport companies, whilst also gaining a deeper appreciation for the holy land.
